Oh My God, I love Phoenix. Whatever you say, the band freak inside of me comeee agaaaaain.....
But why today? I post about it?
It's because I watch a film "Now You See Me" you know... that film about magician... and the closing song on the credits... I think I knew it.... It's Phoenix! It's Entertainment by Phoenix. OH MY! This band! I love this band. *start freakin out*

So magical.... but so far from fake... This band so original, I don't know who inspired them. I can't compare them with certain band that I knew... I love the feeling when I heard their song, the feeling of "something new" and "special"

Do you know thomas' france accent? I think no one can imitate his accent. But not just about that... the music.... first song that booming I thought Lisztomania... I love the music, each of instrument player in that band take their special part, their song enjoyable and energetic at the same time.

And when somepeople talk about long distance call covered by paramore.... some of them sayin that paramore version... is better. Oh no! It's different! I love paramore too okay... but can't you listen? It's totally different... Don't compare. If you love the one than the other one, it's your taste of music who take parts not the music. Just my opinion... don't take it too deep.

But I'm a bit annoyed by the mv of entertainment...

Jadi di malam sabtu yang lengang ini *halah* dimulai dari tadi sore baca mengenai freeport berserta berbagai konspirasinya di sini: Konspirasi JF.Kennedy, Sukarno, Suharto, CIA dan Freeport
gua kembali terkagum-kagum sama soekarno... dan ngenes akan Indonesia.

You know what? Tembagapura itu gunungnya isi emas ya, dan di rampok seenaknya ya.. udah lah jangan ngomongin ini, sakit hati deh.

Dan malemnya gua teringat guru sejarah gua pas SMA ngomongin soekarno sama marilyn monroe...

Voila! Tiba-tiba gua berada di page Foto-foto presiden soekarno yang luar biasa.

Sejujurnya gua sedih ngeliat cewe cantik satu ini... dia "dipake" gitu... sebagai "alat"... tapi dia itu menurut gua berhati kuat... ngerti nggak maksud gua? Pokoknya lawannya berhati lemah lah... ngerti lah ya... begitulah yang gua fikirkan setelah baca quote-nya (Marilyn Monroe Quotes - Goodreads)
Ternyata... dia tipe insecure.. mirip lah mbaknya sama gua... nilai plus deh. Pokoknya baca quote2 dia, inside... kita tuh mirip lhoh. Dan quote terakhirnya di page itu... “Dogs never bite me. Just humans.”
Yeah... made me sad but life must go on. I love those girls who have many thoughts, who experience many hurts, but their smile still awesome.
She was found dead in a bedroom, her death so mysterious.

Mengenai Sistem Pendidikan dan Kita

Setelah udah lumayan lama nggak nge-update blog, tolong dimaklumi post kali ini akan lumayan panjang... Ahaha.

So, here we go~

Akhir-akhir ini isu mengenai ada sesuatu yang salah dengan sistem pendidikan yang ada sekarang ini mulai terangkat. Berikut beberapa berita yang berhasil saya kumpulkan mengenai isu tersebut...

Penjelasan singkat:

Menurut Deddy, sekolah hanya mengarahkan murid untuk menjadi guru dalam artian guru ingin murid menjadi sepandai gurunya. Guru matematika ingin muridnya pintar matematika, begitu juga guru-guru yang lain. Apabila ada 12 mata pelajaran, maka siswa dituntut untuk menguasai semua mata pelajaran tersebut dengan baik, padahal tidak ada manusia yang sempurna. Lha wong gurunya juga hanya expert pada satu bidang studi saja, kok siswanya dituntut untuk menguasai semua. Apabila ada anak yang mempunyai nilai bagus di mapel kesenian sedangkan nilai matematikanya jelek maka banyak orang tua yang justru mengarahkan anaknya untuk les matematika dibanding les seni. Potensi yang dimiliki anak justru dimatikan hanya untuk mengejar mapel yang mungkin tidak disukai anak. Sebaiknya anak les seni sedangkan matematika dibantu hanya untuk mencapai nilai secukupnya.

Penjelasan Singkat:

Erica memang adalah siswi terpandai di sekolahnya. Ia memang selalu mendapatkan nilai terbaik dan seharusnya bisa bangga dengan dirinya saat mengucapkan pidato tersebut. Namun setelah direnungkan, ia mengakui bahwa dirinya tidaklah lebih pintar dari teman-temannya.

Selama ini Erica hanya menjalankan apa yang diperintahkan padanya. PR, ulangan, dan aturan sekolah. Ia hanya mengikuti aturan tersebut begitu saja agar ia terhindar dari hukuman, tidak lulus dan formalitas lainnya. Kenyataan ini mungkin menunjukkan betapa rajin dan tertibnya Erica. Setelah ini ia akan lulus, mendapatkan ijazah dan siap bekerja.

Namun Erica adalah seorang manusia yang berpikir dan mencari pengalaman hidup, bukan pekerja. Dalam pidatonya, ia tampak menyesali karena semasa sekolah ia merasa tidak 'hidup'. (Kondisinya nggak beda jauh sama kondisi di sini kan? pertumbuhan ekonomi negara kita juga iwaw lhoh, di sini kita juga pake penentuan dengan nilai UN doang untuk hari kelulusan lhoh tercetak abadi di ijazah sampai akhir hayat, skor test dan tingkat penerimaan di sekolah-sekolah luar negeri kita juga lumayan tinggi lhoh, lamanya jam sekolah kita dari subuh sampe hampir maghrib lhoh nggak kalah ngeri, dan kalo di Indonesia tanpa libur musim panas dan dingin pula kaya mereka.. tapi di Indonesia ada libur puasa dan lebaran si.. Tapi tetep aja tjoooy!!! Bisa kalee bikin film dokumenter di sini juga---ga ada yang minat ya? yaudah lah)

#4 Dari Prof. Rhenald Kasali (Guru Besar FE UI)
LIMA belas tahun lalu saya pernah mengajukan protes pada guru sebuah sekolah tempat anak saya belajar di Amerika Serikat. Masalahnya, karangan berbahasa Inggris yang ditulis anak saya seadanya itu telah diberi nilai E (excellence) yang artinya sempurna, hebat, bagus sekali. Padahal dia baru saja tiba di Amerika dan baru mulai belajar bahasa.

Karangan yang dia tulis sehari sebelumnya itu pernah ditunjukkan kepada saya dan saya mencemaskan kemampuan verbalnya yang terbatas. Menurut saya tulisan itu buruk, logikanya sangat sederhana. Saya memintanya memperbaiki kembali,sampai dia menyerah.

Rupanya karangan itulah yang diserahkan anak saya kepada gurunya dan bukan diberi nilai buruk, malah dipuji. Ada apa? Apa tidak salah memberi nilai? Bukankah pendidikan memerlukan kesungguhan? Kalau begini saja sudah diberinilai tinggi, saya khawatir anak saya cepat puas diri.

Sewaktu saya protes, ibu guru yang menerima saya hanya bertanya singkat. “Maaf Bapak dari mana?”

“Dari Indonesia,” jawab saya.

Dia pun tersenyum.

BUDAYA MENGHUKUM

Pertemuan itu merupakan sebuah titik balik yang penting bagi hidup saya. Itulah saat yang mengubah cara saya dalam mendidik dan membangun masyarakat.

“Saya mengerti,” jawab ibu guru yang wajahnya mulai berkerut, namun tetap simpatik itu. “Beberapa kali saya bertemu ayah-ibu dari Indonesia yang anak anaknya dididik di sini,”lanjutnya. “Di negeri Anda, guru sangat sulit memberi nilai. Filosofi kami mendidik di sini bukan untuk menghukum, melainkan untuk merangsang orang agar maju. Encouragement! ” Dia pun melanjutkan argumentasinya.

“Saya sudah 20 tahun mengajar. Setiap anak berbeda beda. Namun untuk anak sebesar itu, baru tiba dari negara yang bahasa ibunya bukan bahasa Inggris, saya dapat menjamin, ini adalah karya yang hebat,” ujarnya menunjuk karangan berbahasa Inggris yang dibuat anak saya.

Dari diskusi itu saya mendapat pelajaran berharga. Kita tidak dapat mengukur prestasi orang lain menurut ukuran kita.

First I want to tell you, that I love music, but I never go to a music concert.
I really want to watch my favourite musician live!

The problems are:
I have no money
No transportation
No one to accompany

You can imagine, that I looked so pathetic now. Yeah! It's my dream to watch her concert!
I have a dream when I finished school, then have a job. I will go to a concert. I must go to a concert! My friends and me who already have much money. And Sara Bareilles' concert on the top of the list: Musician's Concert! Must We Watch!

So, What must I do? Although I can join a competition may be, to get free tickets. I still can't go to Sara Bareilles' concert. Although I banked my money. I still cannot! How? to go there? alone? how to go back home from senayan? I must in a bedroom, of course, when night comes.

Yeah, we'll wait. May be Sara Bareilles would happily come back for me, when I grow up, when I am older. WHEN I CAN WATCH HER! Amin.
Ah! Or may be I can go to USA! Watch her, when I have much money, when I success! Ha ha! Amiiiiiin.

My Opinion About:: The Vampire Diaries Season 1

This week I already done a whole episodes (from 1st seson) of  The Vampire Diaries!

And you must know!!! It is soooooooo coool! And addictive! I like the story so much, and the crew... I'm sure they all great! The effects are so real.. The soundtracks are so click! And the men characters are so whew! May be i'm too late to talk about season 1.. but, it's okay.. better late to watch it, than never.. right? It is an absolutely yes! hehehe

But I really sad because, many cool and beauty character must die.. in this season, just because they are vampires! like Lexi, Annabelle, Pearl.. they are cool and actually kind vampire..

The last episode of this season (22nd episode), make me inquire.. about many thing.. There are so many question that I can ask... I can't wait to watch the next season! And if you need anything to watch.. watch this TV serial! You'll definitely like it! There's no disappointed... I felt it. =)

I know this song originaly was sang by Katy Perry.. But, I don't know why, I really like this version too.. May be it's because my cousin (hey mba rosa! hehehe)

My cousin said, they (boys at the video) are gay... but just in the GLEE story. I don't know the  truth. They are handsome right? Especially, the boy who sing a song. ^.^
